Eligibility for note taking services is based upon the student's documented functional limitations as determined by a DSPS counselor during the initial intake appointment. Note taking services are provided as a reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. Purpose: To ensure equal access to in-class information for qualified Disability Support Programs & Services (DSPS) students. Students authorized by a DSPS counselor to receive note-taking services for the current semester may work with a student who is registered in the same class (at the same time) to take notes. Personal Growth & Job Skills Toggle Submenu.If you upload notes after each class period, for example, Monday night, Wednesday night, and Friday night, you would be paid $12 for those uploads, since you uploaded notes on 3 separate days, allowing for quicker and consistent access for your note recipient. If you choose to upload notes from all class periods on one day at the end of the week, you’ll be paid $4 for that upload. Notetakers must upload all class notes at least ONCE per week. You will be paid $4 per day of uploaded notes (max 3x per week) for your effort in uploading high-quality notes, for each class in which you are assigned as a notetaker. ![]()
